    Steps To Healing Your Home

    1

Find a roofing company to assess damage

We want to win your trust and become your roofer, but this does not mean we will not help you if we are not your choice! It is our mission to help others, no matter who they choose. Find a company that you trust, set an appointment to have them come out and assess your home. Be sure and have all paperwork at hand. This includes, but is not limited to:
    1. Home owner's insurance policy.
    2. Any previous claim information.
    3. Your current agent's contact information.

    2

File a claim with your insurance

We can walk you through this. It’s as simple as this:
    1. Call the 1-800 number on the back of your policy.
    2. Give them the date the damage occurred.
    3. They should call you back within three days to set an appointment for an adjuster to come by!

    3

Make arrangement for an adjuster’s visit

Perform necessary work with roofing company

Get a contract with your roofer! Check with your state to ensure they are licensed for the work being done. (If you are not sure, give us a call and we can help). Common professional practice is, you will pay your deductible and the first check to to your contractor. Once the work is complete, your contractor should file for depreciation and any supplements from the job. This will normally come in one to two more checks (possibly more) from the insurance company that will be signed and given to the contractor. Upon completion of the work, you should expect to receive a written warranty for workmanship, materials and a receipt showing all work is complete.
